ABOUT US: A Brief History
Casa Oaxaca was founded in July of 2004 by Guillermo Robles.
Guillermo, or "Memo", is originally from the enchanting and ancient
city of Oaxaca. Oaxaca is the capital of the state of Oaxaca located
in the south of Mexico. Memo wanted to open a store that captured
the rich culture and artistry for which Oaxaca is widely known. The
result is the store located on 1274 Solano Avenue in Albany,
California, which brings all of the unique and beautiful arts and
crafts of Oaxaca right to the Bay Area!
